DG Lindagene speaks at the Vancouver Presidential Peacebuilding Conference.
Over 800 joined Rotary International President Ian Riseley for the first in a series of six worldwide conferences.  Speakers from D5050 included Dean Rohrs (RIVP) and Phoenix McLaren (RYLA Co-Chair).  Mary Schoenfeldt (Everett) organized the Sgts At Arms.  Thank you to all who participated!
In February 2018, the eyes of the Rotary World will be on Vancouver, BC, Canada.
The Presidential Conference on Environmental Sustainability and Peace is one of six international Peacebuilding Conferences planned for the 2017-2018 Rotary year and the only one in North America.
President Ian Riseley has made environmental sustainability a major focus for his year and we are honored to be one of the host Districts for his first Presidential Conference.
The Early Bird Special discount rate is only $225 until October 1, 2017.
The event venue is at one of Vancouver's best hotels - the Hyatt Regency - with a specially discounted room rate of $189.
All prices are in Canadian dollars - a great deal for Canadians and an even better deal for Americans.

We have a great line up of speakers - including environmentalist, scientist and broadcaster, David Suzuki.  Click to visit the speakers page

Rotarians in District 5050 are part of the official hosts for the Conference, along with Rotary Zones 24 and 25 - across Canada and along the West Coast from Alaska to California (including all of our Pacific Northwest PETS Districts).
Our Co-Sponsors for the Conference are two Rotary Action Groups - the Rotary Action Group For Peace and ESRAG - the Environmental Sustainablity Rotary Action Group.
